Are you planning on attending the Valley Social Gathering at the Liberty Street Brewing Company on March 30? Not sure what to order? Join the Valley as Brother Al McKay, MSA, provides a very special guided tour of the World of Beer.

From Ales to Lagers, light to dark, American to German and all parts in between, Brother Al, an avid home brewer for more than 15 years, has prepared some special creations just for the Valley’s Tasting event following the March Valley Meeting.

Experience samples of 10 different styles of beer including California Steam Style, Porter, Dopplebocks and India Pale Ale.

Seating is limited to the first 75 people, so get your reservations in early to find beer styles with real flavor!

Liberty Street Brewing Company is located at 149 W. Liberty Street in Plymouth, Michigan’s Historic Old Village area. This is the quieter, more historic and classic section of Plymouth. Most of the homes and buildings in this area are more than 100 years old, and have many stories to tell. The building that houses our main tasting room was built in the 1890’s, and some nearby buildings are even older.

Price: $20.00 for members, $20.00 for non-members brought by a member and $30.00 for non-members coming on their own.

For those interested, the Valley is hosting a one-day Concealed Pistol Licence Class (CPL) which is necessary to apply for a CPL permit. This one-day, 8 hour class is conducted by certified NRA instructors and will cover everything you need to earn your Concealed Pistol License. The cost is $100.00 (normally $125) with lunch included. The facility also offers gun rentals for those who do not have a firearm for $35.00, and passport photos for $7.00. Class will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday evening, April 10, 2012, the Valley of Detroit is hosting a Demolay event at 7:30 p.m. You will have an opportunity to witness great degree work and if you are not a Senior Demolay, you will have an opportunity that evening to be made an honorary Senior Demolay.
